Today we bring you the review of some small caps that we liked, the Razer Hammerheaad BT. The bluetooth headphones are born of two different needs; on the one hand the comfort of bluetooth, as Sheldon said "with bluetooth everything is better", and on the other hand the growing trend of some companies to remove the 3.5 mm jack inputs from the smartphone.

Unboxing and first impressions
We find ourselves in front of a green and black hard cover box as the brand has us, with a Velcro closure. Very well maintained as always. Along with some description and image of the product and the logo of the three-headed snake around this Razer hammerhead BT pack
When you open the box the first thing you see are the helmets arranged in a hard foam protection and a small rigid box to transport them (Thanks!). On the back of the cover you will find an envelope with the letter of the CEO printed, and inside you will see a small instruction manual in several languages and the brand stickers in green.
Inside the box to transport the Razer Hammerhead BT, are three interchangeable ear pads, so you can choose the one that best suits you, along with a USB-microUSB cable for charging the device, something short for our taste, which has a gold plating for better connection and durability.

They are compatible with both Android and IOS systems, apart we have also used it in PC with Windows 10 and we have not had any problems, we assume that it will be compatible with any operating system that includes Bluetooth.
Easy handling and good quality
At first glance you can see a light device, simple in appearance and easy to use. We have not had any problems to pair the devices the first time, compatible with a maximum of up to 8 devices, and even easier to use the following ones. To install them we only have to keep the power button until they make a second sound and you pair it from your smartphone, pc, or wherever you need it. Then just turn them on and have the Bluetooth activated and will be ready to use.

Physically you will see a device with the flat cable in black and green, with a very light weight of 28 gr and a cable of about 63 cm which consists of three fundamental parts:
- Two headphones with the logo of the snake that emits green-red light according to the state of the battery.
- A magnet, which we believe includes the battery, and will allow you to hang it from your clothes.
- The average controller which includes three physical buttons, the microphone and a micro-USB charging port.
They are in-ear headphones (intraural) made with good quality materials and very aesthetic finishes as we are accustomed to the brand, apart from the robustness provided by parts such as the rings located in the headphones. This along with a flexible cable and nice touch will transmit a good feeling when you use them.

The headphones apart from the three interchangeable pads and the logo that varies to indicate that the battery is low, do not have anything special, for the case more than enough, adding many things to a device intended for comfort would be annoying.
It has three multifunction buttons that make this a user-friendly device. Apart from being able to raise / lower volume and turn off / on, making longer presses or double press, you can hang / unhook calls, change songs, anything you can require without having to use your mobile!

It has a very powerful magnet with the Razer logo to hang it on the back of the neck. This is a detail that at first did not convince us, because although it is quite comfortable, it gave us a bit of insecurity; In the end we are left with the idea that the support is firm and pleasant. It also has to be said that it is easy to put on. We do not recommend them to use sports, unless you think of an alternative place to hang them.
We assume that the battery is in the area magnetized by its size. They have given us an autonomy of between 7 and 8 hours, and a loading time of approximately 2 hours. We found it more than enough for normal use - high. We have missed having a micro-USB cable to 3.5mm jack to connect them directly in case of need, in case we run out of battery for example. But outside of that you have a device of the most complete.

The cable for charging is somewhat short, taking into account that this is done through micro-USB. We can load it from a PC port or from a power outlet. During charging the handset will be shown in red, and once completed it will change to green. Very intuitive as you can appreciate.
A point that we have not finished to like is the protection that the micro-USB input brings, it seems quite fragile and although it is more aesthetic, it can add some protection. The commands are as complete as possible, incorporating all the functions that you may need from a Bluetooth headset.

They incorporate bluetooth 4.1 technology as it could not be otherwise. With an approximate range of 10 meters depending always on the objects between the devices will be higher or lower. As you know this does not depend so much on the brand if not on the technology itself. Recently it has started to take out devices with bluetooth 5.0.
The first point to highlight is the compatibility with the Qualcomm aptx codex, as long as your phone can charge it. These helmets will allow you maximum audio performance in FLAC / MP3 320 kbps files. We have not been able to prove it since we do not have a compatible smartphone right now.

Really the sound is very good for such a small device. It has 10 mm diaphragms with neodymium magnets. We have lacked treble tones and some power in the bass. This point you will notice if for example you listen to strong punch music or if you plan to use them in gaming. We can emphasize above all the clear and clear sound that they offer, that we liked a lot.
The insulation is excellent, but we advise you to try the different pads and wear the ones that best suit your earphone, since that will give you comfort. We have not had any difficulty when exchanging the pads, nor have we found the helmets heavy by including an aluminum ring. It is important to add that the maximum volume is more than acceptable and does not distort, which we did not like enough.

This point does not prevent communication but can make you upset if you are in a place with a lot of fuss, such as near a work. We made some calls using the Razer Hammerhead BT and the result has been quite good, just take into account the environmental noise that is transmitted a lot.

Conclusion
The Razer Hammerhead BT is a very good option to consider if you are looking for a Bluetooth headset. Made with good materials and quality finishes, very clear sound with lack of nuance in highs and strength in the bass but nothing exaggerated.
Also keep in mind that it is a fairly complete team that offers all the functions you may need. With a decent micro speaking in general terms with which you can have a clear conversation unless there is a lot of environmental noise.
